Letter of Intent Questionnaire – Step I

The first step in applying for funding from the JSGF is to complete the Letter of Intent Questionnaire.  In an effort to review grant applications in a more timely fashion, this questionnaire is designed to streamline our review process.  We will request full grant application packages only from nonprofits that truly fit our geographic focus, application funding guidelines and current priorities.

The Letter of Intent’s purpose is to provide the JSGF’s Executive Committee with a clear, one page document outlining: 

Þ                the purpose of the project for which funding is requested; 

Þ                the primary methods to be used in conducting the project or program;  and

Þ                the project’s time frame and budget.

All questionnaires will be reviewed and responded to within 90 days.  If the JSGF Board of Directors is interested in reviewing a complete grant request from your organization, a grant application package will be e-mailed to you, which lists all of the Step II requirements.  Completed Step II applications received by the stated due date will be reviewed by the full Board of Directors within six (6) months.
